Our Philosopy

Our goal is to exhibit, breed and enjoy our Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.  The main purpose of a Cavalier is to be a companion and a comfort. This is a hearty breed with the most wonderful of temperments.  A Cavalier King Charles Spaniel ought to be soft, gentle, loving and happy with a constantly wagging tail. Our dogs are part of our family and live in our home with us. They are happy enjoying the great outdoors and are just as content to snuggle. Cavaliers excel in agility, obedience, and tracking as well as companion or therapy dogs.

As with many breeds of animals there are some inheritable genetic predispositions to certain ailments.  Canine hip dysplasia, mitral valve disease, patellar subluxation and syryngomyellia are the most common and worrisome in Cavaliers.  Our dogs are screened regularly by veterinarians certified in their field for these diseases.  Only dogs with healthy lineage will be considered for our program and every effort is made to be aware of carriers of genetic defects and diseases.

We welcome interaction and input from other breeders and judges and strive to be observant and objective about our dogs with effort to improve on the health, conformation and quality of the breed as a whole.
